About Me

My name is Nicole Ramos, and I’m a North Phoenix–based photographer and founder of Freedfilm Photo. While Phoenix is home, I’m always open to traveling for the perfect shoot. My passion is creating portraits that capture your essence and beauty, helping you feel like the best version of yourself. With over nine years of experience and hundreds of portrait sessions behind the lens, I specialize in dynamic portraits, couple sessions, and branding photography.

I grew up surrounded by the desert landscapes of Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2017, I moved to Orange County, where I immersed myself in the film community and earned a B.A. in Cinema and Media Arts. That experience sharpened my cinematic eye and deepened my storytelling approach to photography. In 2022, the desert—and its unforgettable sunsets—called me back home, and I’ve been here ever since. When I’m not shooting, you can usually find me camping with my husband or walking our dog, Hachi.
